The Tree of Life is a 100 level monthly challenge unlocked after you beat the third map boss.

Each level has 6 rounds and costs 10 energy. Resurrection Potions cannot be used. but Sanctuary of Fortune can spawn just like in the missions.

Each guard in the higher levels of the Tree of Life has a unique skill (enrage) which provides it 10x damage unless all Heroes have mastery, so it is necessary to have at least 16 heroes to win the higher levels. If you don't have 4 heroes against a specific race, better use 3 or even 2 heroes. On lower levels (until level 25) 1 hero with mastery against the race is enough to negate the skill.

Each set of 10 levels requires heroes with mastery against a specific race.

Every 5 levels from level 10 has a boss with a unique mastery. Some bosses require a hero with the counter mastery (e.g. level 60). Some bosses do not have a counter (e.g. level 70). Some bosses can be beaten without the specific hero (e.g. Templar is not required for level 95).

Each level not listed in the reward list of rewards 400 soul shards (no other reward besides the xp). I believe level 75 gives 20 gems.

You get a mystic Soul Stone each time you complete all 100 levels.

Progress resets every month.

A cure mastery hero is recommended. Sleep works well too. This means that demon levels are harder as there are no demon heroes with these masteries. Also, the highest rank rogue with demon mastery is only 2*. Therefore, it can be a good option to make your Lord a rogue demon.
